Sanidu Abeywickrama previously worked at V.S. Kansai International in Sri Lanka before starting operations in Japan. He joined VS Kansai Co., Ltd. on R7/09/02 and, having taken over its operations, now serves as the company's president.

Yoshimi Hirosawa is the founder of VS Kansai Co., Ltd. and steered the company until welcoming Sanidu Abeywickrama as co-president.

How we've grown
From a single yard in 2019 to our head office and yards across Osaka today.
Founded in Osaka
VS Kansai began with its first office and yard in Chihaya-Akasaka, Osaka — our first base for exporting quality Japanese vehicles and machinery, before we moved on to our next yard.
SABI Yard, Tondabayashi
As demand grew we moved to a larger yard in Sabi, Tondabayashi — known as the SABI Yard — which remains in full operation today. Here we also built a container-loading pit to accommodate shipments of construction equipment and bicycles.

Head office & main yard, Kanan
We opened our head office and main yard in Yamashiro, Kanan-cho, Osaka — today the heart of our operations for sourcing, inspection and export. We have built a new container-loading pit. Here is how the yard has grown, year by year.
